How to Store ?

How to Store Homemade Pickles for Maximum Freshness

Proper storage of homemade pickles ensures their flavor, texture, and shelf life remain intact. Follow these simple tips to keep your pickles fresh:
1. Store in a Glass Airtight Jar
• Always keep pickles in a clean, dry glass jar with an airtight lid.
• Avoid plastic containers as they can absorb odors and may not be completely airtight.
2. Keep in a Cool, Dry Place
• Store your pickle jar in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
• Heat can cause the oil and spices to lose their potency, affecting the pickle’s taste.
3. Always Use a Dry Spoon
• Moisture is the biggest enemy of pickles! Always use a clean, dry spoon to prevent spoilage.
• Even a small amount of water can cause fungal growth.
4. Keep the Pickles Submerged in Oil
• Ensure that the pickles are completely submerged in oil or brine to prevent oxidation and mold formation.
• If needed, add extra oil to maintain the correct level.
5. Refrigerate for Longer Shelf Life
• If you live in a humid climate or want to store pickles for a long time, refrigeration can help.
• While most traditional pickles stay fresh at room temperature, refrigeration slows down fermentation and extends their shelf life.
6. Check for Freshness Regularly
• A good pickle has a rich aroma and a well-preserved texture.
• If you notice any off smells, mold, or discoloration, it may be time to discard the batch.

By following these tips, you can enjoy the authentic taste of homemade pickles for months! 🥒✨

Quality okay

It is an okay kind of pickle in terms of quality and taste. There is no wow factor but there is not a negative one also. Little bit high on salt and slightly under seasoned. Well ripened, mild flavors, slightly expensive. Can definitely buy again if dont find better options.

Hi,
Thank you so much for the detailed review.
We dont use preservatives so we have to add salt just for the natural preservation.
We have received other reviews regarding the salt, from our next lot we are going to reduce the quantity of salt.

Thank you so much.

Less oily, more taste

Most pickles are too oily, but this one is perfect. Just the right amount of oil and spice!

Good One

Pickle is home made and tastes good considering the fact that finding good lesua pickle is not an easy task, can improve the taste. But good try.
