Why do we need Cold Pressed Oils ?
Most of the modern day diseases like Stress, Joint pains, Gas, Hairfall are due to Vata imbalance and the easiest way to balance vata is oiling(inside and outside) Go the traditional way and oil your body with the healthy and nutrients rich cold pressed pure oils.
Coconut oil has a sweet Aroma. It has a moderate smoke point of 177°C which makes it suitable for saut and stir frying .It is an oil rich in saturated fats, yet considered healthy as the saturated fats in this oil are medium chain fatty acids which are broken down easily by our body and are less likely to be stored as fats. It supports a strong immune system as it has strong anti-microbial, anti fungal and anti-viral properties.
Coconut oil is good source of omega 3 and hence is anti-inflammatory. Coconut is good for skin and hair. When taken orally it helps lubricate joints. Coconut oil is also a good choice for "oil pulling".Coconut oil is cooling and best time/season to consume it is when it remains liquid at room temperature.
Effect on Tridosha: Calms Pitta and Vata and increases Kapha Dosha
