Peanut has a mild nutty flavour, and is generally a good neutral choice for cooking. It has a moderate smoke point of 180 degree Celcius. Rich in MUFA and PUFA, peanut oil is good for HDL. Peanut oil is rich in omega 6 fatty acids and Vitamin E, one teaspoon of Peanut Oil has 11%of RDI of Vitamin E. Main role of Vitamin E is to function as an antioxidant, protecting the body from harmful substances called free radicals.
